New Adventures

Today the kids and I packed up our things, brought extra books and blankets, and went on an adventure.

We took a long drive and met Sean at his work. Then we all had lunch together! It was so fun to watch the girls and how excited they were when I told them where we were going. They have wanted to "eat lunch with daddy at his work" for weeks now! As soon as Emma saw the stadium she knew right away! "That's daddy's work mama! Right there! Right here! I can see the football field!! Did you see that?" She shouted as we got closer. When you see that much joy, excitement, and love come from a child not only because she it is fun, but because she loves her Daddy so much, you can't help but smile!

Parker was excited to see him too ! You just can't tell as much because he really does not do well in the heat! Such a sweet and sweaty little boy!! The blanket was purely for spit up! Lol

When we were done eating we got to take a trip into the stadium and it was a surprise to us all when there was a scrimmage/practice going on. Sean showed me some of the work he had done and the girls looked around in amazement! They were so upset when we had to leave.

We made a quick trip to the book store after Sean went back to work in hopes to get some cool memorabilia but there was a meltdown over a dropped apple and so we only had time to shop  and get a gift for Sean. We figured it was the least we could do for all the hard work he does for us!
When we were all packed up and ready to go, we went down to the Wednesday market.
It was a small little market but we got some lettuce, peppers, corn, and strawberries from one store, honey from another, and some super delicious and simple applesauce from another. In the hussle and bustle to get out the door on time, I forgot swimsuits so they were pretty upset when they couldn't play in the fountains. However, smiles returned to their faces when we stopped at Great Harvest and got some delicious bread and waters.

It was a grand adventure for us all and I hope that by writing this the memories that were made today continue to live on forever!
