6 Weeks Update

Well we aren't out of the first trimester yet by any means, which still means anything can happen. BUT! I do have some wonderful and exciting news today. My doctor finally!!! wanted to see me early because of everything that has been happening. It was a short appointment that she basically just squeezed me in where ever she could. But she did an ultra sound and she gave me three pictures. Our little Taz got his/her very first picture today. I got to hear the heartbeat too which made me so happy considering the past week I have had. I start to cry a little, partly because my hormones are starting to be effected I think, and partly because I was so happy that everything was ok. Dr. Renard (who is really really nice by the way) said that everything looked healthy and perfect at this point in time, even though there wasn't that much to see. I wont see her again until August 26 and I will be out of the first trimester by that point. I wish Sean could have gone with me to hear the heartbeat, but it was totally spur of the moment so he couldn't just leave work. I will be towards the end of my 14th week the next time we go, and Sean will for sure be going with me at this point, whether he wants to or not...lol. I have pictures that I will probably put up later, but I have to scan them first and I haven't got to that point yet. I just got home and have lots of stuff to do first.
