Good night moon....good night my babes

It's getting late and the girls have finally laid their heads down to rest. They have more energy than I ever thought possible. They run full speed ahead all day long! New things to learn, read, sing, try. I love that about them. They are very different yet, very much the same some days. Emma is my strong willed one with her emotions on her sleeve. The leader of the pack! In the future, I see her leading and teaching people to do great things. Grace is my nurturer. She will be the mothering friend to all who need her help. She also will be he best house keeper ;-) Its all I can do to keep her out of the dishes, the laundry, and the vacuum closet! If I'm sweeping the floors she's trying to take the broom away!  Together, they will be unstoppable! They will protect each other and their brother until the end. I anxiously await for Parker to find himself a little and join the crew, adding to the table his own set of characteristics.

I can't help but think what kind of man will Parker be? It's something to do as we sit in the dark together since he is having a hard time falling back to sleep. He woke up and wanted to nurse but already had a full belly from 30-45 min ago. I let him, thinking and hoping that when he was REALLY full he would just stop. Apparently, I was wrong and he ended up spitting up everywhere. Now he is laying his little head on my chest and his little body across my body, all wrapped up like a catapiller waiting to one day become a beautiful butterfly. I listen and watch him breathing in and out. How strong yet fragile his body is. I love how content he is as he listens to my heart beating. One day when he is an amazing father to his own children I hope and pray he has many moments like this and that he remembers them forever, just as I will!
