Becoming a Better ME!

There are so many things that I have on my to-do list. Just like every other mom, I want to do things for my kids, husband, and myself. Unfortunately, the myself part usually comes last. I've started to work out. Hey, I know its only  two days now, but you have to start somewhere? Right?! (Says the little voice inside me , pushing me to do better) I'm refusing to give up! I also refuse to stand on a scale for the first 2 weeks of working out because I know there will be a part of me that will come up with an excuse. Its not working, so why try?!!? I've said this to myself plenty of times in the past. I'm very excited to get a healthier body and find the energy to do the things I have been trying accomplish this year. I'm becoming a fierce mama while I do my Pretty Fierce Weight Loss DVDs!
On the organizing aspect of my life... sigh! I always seem to get ahead, only to find more mess in another room. I guess that's what happens when you live in a 3 bedroom, 1 bath, 1 living room house. My kitchen is tiny and there is no storage anywhere in this house. BUT, I have a house and that's the best part about this. I can do whatever to wherever I please. Here is what I worked on last week. I went onto Etsy and bought some really organizers! Then I went to staples since I had 20% off and created this!

I have my meals for the week with my groceries I need, my meals for the month, my cleaning for the week, my important receipts, a calendar, and on the rare occasion I have a date night with my hubby, important babysitter information! I took this picture last week, so I actually have done more cleaning than it looks like! :)
As far as the bagel making goes, which I talked about in my last post, you will all be glad to know that I am in the process of making them right now. Not very fair since I am watching what I eat, but they are mostly for Sean anyway :) A quick an easy breakfast for him to grab in the morning and eat on his hour long drive. I'm making my version of "Better Cheddar" so I hope he likes it!  I'm feeling like things are starting to work in the house, but that could all change in just a few days ;-) Best of luck to those out there trying to better themselves. I know from personal experience, saying you are going to do something and actually doing it, sometimes makes for a challenge, but we can do it!
