Happy 2nd Birthday to My Little Girl!

Emma is now 2 years old! Where did the last 2 years go??? She's having a blast telling people that she's two years old now :) On Thursday I worked :( but afterwards we went out to dinner at the Olive Garden. I guess that they don't sing or anything like that any more on birthdays, but they did for Emma!!! She loved it :) Then on Friday Emma, my mom, and I went to Capital Manor (at retirement facility that my mom volunteers at) and the residence there held a birthday party for her. After nap time we went and saw Carah, Anthony, and Ryne.... he and Emma share a birthday, 2 years apart exactly! Then today, we had brunch with a friend. She is having her baby shower tomorrow around the same time as Emma's birthday so we decided it would be easier just to meet up for brunch and then exchange gifts there. She had so much fun and they gave her a gift certificate to The Kroc Center for swim lessons!!! It is such an awesome gift I can't wait for us to use it! After that we came home and Emma and I took naps. Then we got up and a little after Sean got home from work we went to Red Robin and had Birthday dinner with my mom and Jim. My mom is going to Florida tomorrow to take care of my grandma so she wont be able to make it to Emma's birthday party :( Then we went to my mom's and opened all the presents from Nana and Papa! After tomorrow's adventures I'm sure glad Monday will be here and we can relax and watch some of the new movies she got for her birthday. TV isn't my favorite thing, but after all the excitement we both will need a day of recovery.
